HCF RULES & REGULATIONS

The follow charges will be applied to the corresponding symbols:

⭐️= £10

☀️= £50

STABLES

⭐️Designated areas must be kept clean at all times. This includes the communal areas leading to your stables. Wheelbarrow covers are to be used when moving wheelbarrows around the yard.

⭐️Wheelbarrows, tools, haynet etc must be kept in tack rooms, no exceptions.

⭐️No tampering with the water drinkers or any other fixtures & fittings. When asked, top doors must be kept shut to stop water pipes from freezing, no exceptions.

☀️All stables are to be painted in the first week of May, every year.

⭐️No tied up horses or loose horses outside stables. Use holding pen (next to warm up arena).

If your horse makes a mess you must clean it up, this goes for anywhere on the yard.

All rubbish to be taken home.

10 stable gates to be kept closed at all times.

Bottom yard gate to be kept closed at all times.

Bottom yard gate is to be used for entering & exiting.

Top doors must be shut if the temperature will be 0 or less to stop water pipes from freezing.

⛔️LOAN HORSES- details of the owner and loaner must be given to Dean. ⛔️

ARENAS

☀️Strictly no lunging in jump arena or flatwork arena.

☀️You MUST have someone on the ground/poo picker at ALL TIMES in these 2 arenas.

☀️You MUST book these 2 arenas & stick to your time.

⭐️Jumps must be put back down on the ground after use in the jump arena.

⭐Body Protectors are mandatory when in the cross country arena.

⭐️Handlers/Riders must wear a hat at all times.

☀️Muck must be picked up IMMEDIATELY.

⭐️Do NOT leave gates open, keep closed at all times.

Do NOT move any jumps.

If you break any jumps you must report it immediately. When putting coins in for the lights, make sure the box is securely shut after opening.

If you notice any holes in the arena surface please report immediately.

If jumps have been blown over, please put back up with weights on.

Do NOT leave muck in poo scoops, put in bins provided.

Do NOT put rubbish in the muck bins.

WASHROOM

⭐️You must book on the app & stick to your times.

⭐️All farrier, physio, vets, dentist etc appointments must be in the washroom, not stables (unless a vet emergency)

⭐️You must clean after use, even if someone else left a mess.

FARRIER BAY

All farriers, vets etc must park here.

FIELDS

All gates must be shut at all times.

No turnout at weekend (Winter).

In winter, you must choose a field for that week & stick to it.

If you see any damage to fence lines etc you must report it immediately.

CAR PARK

Park nose into the fence line, close as possible.

All deliveries to be dropped here, strictly no where else on the yard.

No parking outside any buildings or containers at any time.

MUCK HEAPS

Top muck Heap:

Tip wheelbarrows off the EDGE of the muck heap, not in the middle.

Piles of muck should be kicked flat.

Bottom muck Trailer:

Fork up muck.

If any muck falls off the trailer/onto the ramp, pick it up.

HAY CONTAINERS

Keep clean at all times.

When moving your trolley up for a new bale, make sure you sweep as you are moving other trolleys up.

Any hay at the entrance/doors of the containers should be swept & picked up.

Do NOT leave any piles of hay inside the container.

NO STORING HAYNETS in containers.

No haynets, rugs or other items should be left in the hay containers.

☀️Any damage caused to the trolley must be paid for.

CANTEEN

Keep it clean.

No feet on seats.

Keep door shut, especially if heater is on.

Keep door to vending machine shut.

Do NOT over fill the bin. If bin is full please let us know.

TOILETS

Do NOT flush sanitary items down the toilet, use bins provided.

Bins must be cleaned by the liveries.

Please flush the toilets.

Toilet roll is not supplied.

Sinks only to be used to wash hands. No washing buckets etc.

BOLLARD

Times: 05:45 - 21:15

These times are only applicable to the 1 fob per stable.

Extra fobs are : 09:00 - 17:00

Give way to traffic coming UP the lane/into the yard.

Do not drop the bollard for anyone unless you have organised for them to come.

You are held responsible for anyone you let through.

You must wait for traffic coming up the lane - do not drive at them.

ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING ON THE LANE AT ANY TIME.

SLIDING GATE

Times: 05:45 - 21:15

This gate is only to be used for horses walking through or vehicles.

⭐️Strictly not for use of walking through, all pedestrians access via washroom.

⭐️Do not stand/ride on the gate.

If you see people or vehicles you do not recognise please report as soon as possible.

Any of these terms & conditions can be changed.

These rules & regulations will be able to view in the canteen & washroom.
